It's been a while since my last post. After healthcare reform was forced on the American people, I have started to consider what form of government we have now. This reform was obviously unconstitutional. The constitution, being the basis of our laws was ignored so we are no longer a society based on law(a republic). The American people were ignored so we are no longer a society that takes the peoples voice into account(a democracy). Instead, the fate of the nation's healthcare industry was put in the hands of a few elite individuals. Does that make us some sort of elected oligarchy?

State of the union address

It's taken me a couple of days to post anything about His hopefulness's state of the union address. First of all, as usual he struck me as kind of arrogant. He essentially requested applause( "I thought I would get some applause on that one"). He says that he wants to create private sector jobs but through his education plan makes working anywhere except the government imprudent. For future reference when he says "public service" he doesn't mean the military, education, law enforcement or charitable work he means a job in government bureaucracy. His little crusade against our educational system falling apart is a complete fabrication. In Obama's America education will consist of unions indoctrinating children with a skewed version of our history and irrelevant knowledge of abstract algebraic equations like x+4/5-y*7=(3>2^x) Couldn't children be learning something more useful. The only way to prevent America from falling behind on a global stage is by arming children with a legitimate knowledge of history and skills that they can apply in their careers. In conclusion, the address was just another testament to our president's impressive oratory abilities but lack of knowledge about how to run our country.

One of the things that iv'e been noticing is that some people will call you a racist if you dont like Obama. I find that immensely irritating because that's manipulative. We are not racists they are just putting us on a guilt trip.

Okay here is what I am tired of: these shirts comparing Obama to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. They always say something like "the dream is still alive". You can not compare the two for the following reasons

1. Dr. King fought for American values like civil rights and liberty and justice for all, Obama fights for un-American values like socialism punishing success and the redistribution of wealth

2. Dr. King's cause, civil rights was common sense, bipartison issue, Obama's beliefs are far left and represent only a small part of America.

So please before you compare two individuals think.

So while watching the news regarding the healthcare debate I realized what a narcasistic prospect Obama's Socialist policies are. All of communism and socialism is based on the idea of a utopian society. Heres where the problems begin: The elimination of the free market in favor of government control destroys innovation and hurts society in general. Later, to maintain government control the government has to grow even more and become more centralized. This robs individuals of many of their liberties. Capitalism may not be perfect but it is simply the most efficient and fair system in the world. Capitalist help themselves and society in general through their endevours. To move towards socialism would go against the basic values our country was founded on. Please call your representatives and tell them to vote against Obama's Marxist healthcare reform.
